Third Eye Jazz began with DJ L-Cat back in college when she DJ’d for KUGS. Her love of jazz
and classical percussion training as a youth lead to a show where she combines the
soundtracks of her life into one. From all varieties of jazz being the base of everyday routine, to
Neo-Soul for when one needs to sing along, and Hip-Hop for when the beat helps tell the story
just as much as the lyrics. Everything that jazz has influenced provides inspiration and finds a
place on Third Eye Jazz, and L-Cat hopes you can open your third eye when you tune in to hear
your favorites back to back with deep cuts thanks to the waves of KMRE.
