GET TICKETS AT VILLAGE BOOKS IN FAIRHAVEN OR EVENTBRITE
Want to listen to KMRE on the radio wherever you are in Whatcom County? Getting the station a new transmitter and antenna will fix that and we are raising money to make it happen! With your help, we can purchase the equipment needed to power the KMRE broadcast signal across Whatcom County.
The Federal Communications Commission has authorized us to expand our signal range. This is a rare opportunity for Whatcom County to have a “full power” community radio station. We’re talking 20 times the wattage KMRE has today!
These upgrades are major expenditures beyond the usual cost of operating a radio station. We are truly committed to our community and would like to deliver KMRE’s unique mix of roots music, locally focused conversation, arts & culture, educational programming, and specialty music programs to all of Whatcom County.
